Welcome to my online gallery. Most of these paintings have been done in watercolor, but some are watercolor pencil, watercolor crayon, pastel, gouche, or water soluble ink.
The collages are mainly done with acrylic paint with an overlay of fibrous Japanese papers and texturing agents such as molding paste, tissue paper, cheese cloth, and various acrylic gels.
Enjoy the trip.

Karl and I are admiring your art!
And adding “Northernview” to our Blogroll.
Thank you! I’m honored. The art is pure fun for me.
Is “Liz’s Flowers” new? Gorgeous!
May I reprint on my blog? Perfect for February.
The pear picture made me smile! I have a “pear” theme going on in my kitchen with pear tiles at the sink backsplash and pear pictures on the wall, pear plates on plateracks and pear cookie jars plus glass pears in the windows.
The Spring 2010 issue of WestWard Quarterly arrived today.
Congratulations on your beautiful Water Color on the cover!
Thank you, Ellen!
I have just discovered something wonderful: water soluble crayons, made by LYRA. They are so much fun, and the result looks just like real paints! So easy to shade, and achieve dimensional effects.
Isn’t it fun to play? I’m thankful to be at an age (almost 77) where I have loads of time to play. 🙂
Beautiful! Your artwork inspires me!
Thank you, Roberta!

How did you get the shiny texture on Old Ambience? It’s gorgeous!
Hi, Jeanette. You sound like a kindred soul!
The shine is from an GOLDEN acrylic product, Interference. It comes in several pearlescent shades, and the color shifts as you view the piece from different angles. I have 2 bottles: green/blue, violet/green, and green/orange. It is textured on that painting because I applied it thickly. To much fun! 🙂
I really like “Liz’s Flowers” very nice stuff
